In 1894, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Command transformed their farm in La Chapelle d’Abondance into an hotel-restaurant. Four generations later, Jérémy Trincaz (23 years old) and his sister Virginie (26 years old), the great-grandchildren of the Commands, are at the helm of what has gradually become "Les Cornettes." Like their father, Jérémy and Virginie attended the Lycée Hôtelier Savoie Léman in Thonon-les-Bains. Their mother, on the other hand, graduated from the École Hôtelière de Blois.

With each generation working for the next, the establishment has become an institution.

The "Les Cornettes" series documents the family transmission of both tangible and intangible heritage across several generations. This work began in 2015 as part of the "La France Vue d'Ici" project organized by the ImageSingulières festival and Mediapart. In 2017, it was exhibited at the ImageSingulières Festival in Sète and later published in a collective book by La Martinière Editions.

This work is still ongoing.
